Quite a while since we have posted. It’s been a lovely spring. Bluebells have been spectacular. And the sun has been with us most days, highlighting the hills. May is always a great time to be in the Lakes.

Happy New Year !! After a very wet New Year we are enjoying a couple of bright but chilly days in Bowness. ☀️❄️. Hoping the sun hangs around for a few more days. 😀. Best wishes, and hope to see you later in the year.

Absolutely stunning day on Windermere. Vintage boats, sailing boats, rowing boats and hire boats all in the lake. But can any beat the sheer elegance of MV Tern?? ☀️☀️☀️☀️🚤⛰️.

A beautiful Easter Sunday. We avoided the crowds by visiting one of Cumbria’s many prehistoric monuments - the Swinside Stone Circle. The Lake District was made famous by William Wordsworth, Beatrix Potter and Alfred Wainwright - but people have been here for thousands of years !! ⛰️⛰️☀️☀️
