Haworth Day Out Itinerary 🚶♂️📖
Located in West Yorkshire, Haworth is a quaint village, famous for being the home of the Brontë sisters. It's a great place to visit as a day trip from Manchester or Leeds.
📍 1. Park at Pen*stone Hill Country Park (Moorside Lane). 🏞️🌿
📍 2. Walk to Brontë Waterfall – Follow the scenic trail through the moors, leading to this peaceful waterfall, where the Brontë sisters once walked for inspiration. 🌊📖
📍 3. Walk to Haworth – Continue towards the quaint and historic village of Haworth, walking through open countryside and scenic lanes. 🌾🚶♂️
📍 4. Brontë Parsonage Museum – Visit the former home of the Brontë sisters, now a museum dedicated to their life and works, featuring original manuscripts and personal belongings. 🏡📚
📍 5. Haworth Main Street – Wander along the charming cobbled street, lined with independent bookshops, vintage stores, cafés, and tea rooms. Make sure to go to the Cabinet Of Curiosities as it's a very unique shop.☕🛍️
📍 6. Lunch at Cobbles and Clay, a cosy café on Main Street.
📍 7. Central Park – Walk down Main Street all the way to Central Park 🌳✨
📍 8. Keighley & Worth Valley Railway (Haworth Station) – Step back in time and see this heritage steam railway. If you have extra time, you can hop on but otherwise it's also nice to just have a look at the train from the station. 🚂🎥
📍 9. Walk back via Pen*stone Hill Country Park – Return through the country park. 🌄🚶♀️
