We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of David Hockney.

Born and raised in Bradford, David became one of the world's most celebrated artists, yet Yorkshire was always at the heart of who he was and the work he created.

Here at Cedar Court Bradford, we wanted to honour that connection in our own way. Our restaurant, Stanley's, is named after David's beloved dachshund, Stanley, and features artwork inspired by and celebrating his remarkable legacy.

We're incredibly proud to have this small corner of his story within our hotel - a tribute to a man who helped put Bradford and Yorkshire on the global stage through his creativity, colour and unmistakable perspective.

As David once said, "I think Yorkshire is the most beautiful place in the world."

Today, we're remembering a true Yorkshire icon.
