🏊 THE STORY BEHIND THE POOL: THEN AND NOW 💚
The original owners of Adgestone built this swimming pool with vision, determination and pride. It became part of many successful years at the campsite, filled with family holidays, laughter and memories that people still share today.
Over time, Adgestone changed hands and eventually closed for four years. When we took on the challenge of bringing it back to life, we discovered far more problems than anyone could see from the outside.
There were serious infrastructure issues, extensive repairs, vandalism and ageing equipment. We faced delays, contractors letting us down and the added challenge of getting essential work completed on the Island.
Behind the scenes, we have repaired services, installed new boilers, fitted gas meters and continued rebuilding the foundations of the park properly.
Today marks another important milestone. After everything we have faced, the gas connections are finally being completed.
There is still work ahead, but every repair brings Adgestone another step closer to the welcoming campsite it once was and the wonderful future we know it can have.
