We have had such a great working relationship with these guys, ever since their first visit to us and we are thrilled that they will be joining us again in 2027.

It is lovely to read the very kind words in the original post and to know that so much is thought of this big beautiful house and the team behind the running of it, thank you guys!

It really is great working with so many different people and having the pleasure of meeting all of their clients, from all across the globe.

Enjoy the rest of 2026 and look forward to seeing you all in 2027 !!!

Today was an awesome day!

A few weeks ago we spent a few days in Shetland. If you have never been, it is very hard to explain how amazing it is. For the past few years we have been doing a tour that spends a week in Orkney and a week in Shetland. We did 2 of these tours last year, but this year we replaced that tour with our 3 week tour of the Scottish Islands.
Although the islands tour was absolutely amazing, the whole time we were in Orkney and Shetland I kept thinking that it wasn't enough time, even though we spent 4 days in each set of islands. The whole time I regretted that I had not put this tour into our 2027 schedule. Then we had a tour that was not performing well and I knew I needed to put another tour in its place and I had 3 or 4 contenders.
I never once thought about doing our 1 week in Orkney and 1 week in Shetland tour, because I knew we would not want to stay anywhere except Busta House in Shetland, and there would be no way they would have availability because we generally have to book a couple of years in advance. It kept niggling at me and niggling at me, so early this morning I checked availability and they had the exact number of rooms I needed for the exact dates I needed! It was fate!
Mario and I know we will return to Busta on our own, but we were very sad that we would not return with a group. The guys at Busta that have become like family to us, were sad about it as well. And now it is happening - September 2027. Yes, today was an awesome day!

Thankfully the Boss wasn't wearing his Itsy Bitsy Teenie We**ie Yellow Polkadot Bikini, when he had a quick meet up with Timmy Mallett yesterday.

Thoroughly pleasant chap, wonderful to have had a chat.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the Boss!

Grant recently said he sometimes still feels as though he is a young man in his twenties, although I can confirm reality very quickly kicks in when a tour group comes to check in and he has to help taking the suitcases up and down the stairs at Busta… 🤣

Anyway I shall not go too far with this as I would quite like to keep my job upon his return to work in a couple of days.

So all that is left to say is, from the whole team we wish you A very Happy Birthday Grant, we all hope you enjoy your days off with 1 or 2 celebratory drams! 🥳🍻

Afternoon all you lovely folks, hope you are all well.

We know it's been a wee while since we have been open for lunches, however given a rather special day of the year is upcoming then we are happy to say that we will be open for lunch as well as our usual dinner service on Mother's Day, SUNDAY the 15th of MARCH.

Tables are limited so please do get in touch sooner rather than later to avoid any disappointment.

Both the adult and children's menu's attached will be the only menu's that we are offering on that day.

Hello Folks!

With Valentines weekend almost upon us, we thought we would let you know that we do still have availability for both Rooms and Tables on Friday 13th February & Sunday 15th February. However we are now fully booked on Saturday 14th February for both Rooms and tables.

We will be running the valentines menu on all three days, and this will be the only menu available for that weekend.

Hard to believe that we are so close to Valentine's, it feels like no time at all since we were closing the doors for our festive break.

But alas, here we are and thanks to the team we are more organised than usual and our menu is here................

This year we will be serving our Valentine's menu on the evenings of the 13th, 14th & 15th of February (it should be noted that this will be the only menu we will be running over these three nights)

We still have availability for tables and rooms on all three days, although we're sure spaces will fill up quick, so don't delay too long to secure yours.
