4 bedroom luxury accommodation comfortably catering up to 9 guests plus 1 infant, however more can be accommodated for. This stunning historic country cottage has been stylishly designed blending modern with traditional features. Guests enjoy our new huge 6 person hot tub overlooking the valley and out towards the Solway Firth. There are other stunning views from the property over to the Lake Dist

rict and North Pennines. This charming property was built in the 18th Century right on top of the Wall’s Vallum! Like many of the older properties around here, it was built using the stones from Hadrians Wall. The wall itself is 50 m away, and the highest remaining piece of Hadrian’s Wall, Hare Hill, is only a short walk away! There is complete privacy at Barn on the Wall, the vast 1200 square meter garden is fully private and enclosed - so perfect for dogs and children to safely enjoy. There is a elf and fairy trail along the miniature brook in the garden with hidden clues and maps. There are no overlooking houses or gardens - but perhaps the occasional cheeky sheep! The property boasts its own self serve pub for your own private use. The self-serve bar is a large traditional barn attached to the rest of the building and has a brand new 7ft pool table, dart board, table tennis and a stunning bar built by our local carpenters.

Tonight is the last night of The Barn on the Wall being a holiday cottage. The northern lights are wanting to appear, hopefully the clouds will part for a ‘farewell’ display.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout this venture. We have enjoyed being able to provide a place for people to get together with their families, whether it has been to celebrate an occasion or to enjoy some respite.
We have had many return customers - a handful of you I got to know very well and am sad that we no longer will see each other in this setting. Incredibly grateful to all those who took a chance with the Barn in the early days and for those who continued to support us. My mission from the start was to provide an affordable location where families or friends could gather to enjoy this beautiful part of the world.

• coming from Brampton. Turn in off the main road
• Pass the car parks on your right (signposted private)
• Drive ahead & park to the right of the green door
• Head straight, pop your shoes in the basket and straight in up the stairs
