Your gateway to walking, cycling and breath-taking scenery from Talkin Tarn, Hadrian's Wall, The Lake District and so much more. Wall and Lakes cottage, along a quiet country lane with large gardens and sunny patio. Entrance steps lead onto level access to all rooms including the spacious living room with two sofas, cosy multifuel stove and large window offering a stunning countryside view. At the far end of the living room, you will find the dining table and chairs, which are linked to the kitchen through a charming service hatch. The kitchen is bright and well equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, cooker and the modern equipment you would expect. Each bedroom offers a king-sized bed and the front bedroom can be divided into two small single beds if required. All bedding is of the highest quality, soft and comfortable. The bathroom is beautifully tiled with electric shower above a P shaped bath. There is also a lovely sunny side porch in which to enjoy your morning coffee or relax in after a busy day exploring. Cyclists, walkers, or those just wanting to take time out to rest or peacefully work are all very welcome and have the additional use of a lockable shed for cycles, or other equipment, if required. Importantly, for any home from home, there is also free WIFI and parking for two cars. All this makes Wall and Lakes Cottage the perfect place to stay, any time of year. As local owners, we aim to ensure the highest standards and warmest welcome for our guests and are happy to help with any queries or concerns. Easily accessible by road (M6, A69), rail (Brampton or Carlisle) and bus services from Newcastle and Carlisle. It is also very conveniently located, a real 'gateway' from which to explore Hadrian’s Wall near by; historical Carlisle; The Lake District National Park; The Pennine Way; Dumfries and Galloway Coast as well the Scottish borders. In addition, there are numerous local attractions to see as well as cycle paths and walks to rambling along, including beautiful Gelt woods, Talkin Tarn National Park, Lanercost Priory, Tindale Tarn and the RSPB bird reserve, to mention a few. Or why not stroll down to the weekly market or visit one of the excellent pubs; shops or take-aways in Brampton.
