Apologies to everyone annoyed by the live feed of Weymouth’s Tembrance Service being spoilt by a very irresponsible drone operator. It was not only very disrespectful but also potentially very dangerous for those beneath it. We’re please to hear the operator now has been identified and reported ...

Today is Wednesday, I am in Devon and it is all sunny!

Hello to all my friends!!!

I am on holiday at The Key Stone Hotel Branscombe Devonstone Hotel with my Mummy and Daddy and my little sister who is 6 months old. We are having a lovely time and there are lots of things to do. We sleep in a room with a number 9 on the door and I have my own bedroom that I share with my sister who sleeps in the cot, it not like a other hotel we went to where I had to share a room with Mummy and Daddy. I sleep in a bunk bed and its lots of fun because I sleep in the top sometimes and then the bottom sometimes, its like having my own little house because when I sleep underneath Mummy hangs a blanket down so its all dark and I have tea parties with my teddies! There are 2 other rooms in room 9, one is a bathroom and the other is a room for my Mummy and Daddy.

We came on Saturday and since then we have been very busy! After we got here and looked at everything I didn’t want to go anywhere because there is a playroom and a big garden and there are lots of toys to play with and in the garden there are lots of things to see like Rabbits and Swirrels or something!! anyway what ever they are, they run in the trees and have long fluffy tails, lots Birds and even a Frog and a Slow Worm, but it was very fast at hiding from me and not very slow!!!
Mummy and Daddy took me out and we went to the Beach at Branscombe which is all Pebbly and we threw lots of stones into the sea and then I got my wellies full of water and my trousers got wet so when we came back to the hotel my Mummy gave them to Judith who put them in a machine to make them clean and dry again.

Then it was time for tea, it was at 5.00 when me and Sarah who’s my sister had our tea with all the other children, it was just like a big party with all my friends, Mummy and Daddy have their tea later on when we are in bed asleep which I thinks not fair! I had fish fingers and potato faces and peas and Sarah had some chicken and vegetables that was pureed because she doesn’t like lumps.

On Sunday we went to Crealy which was lots of fun, there are animals to play with and a big play area with slides and ball pools and lots of fun things. I had a baked potato in its skin for my tea with some cheese and baked beans.

On Monday we went to see the sea in Sidmouth and played on the beach and made sand castles and then on the way back we went to see the Donkeys at the Donkey Sancturary we even fed them! I had pizza for my tea and then as a special treat we had chocolate mouse for pudding.

Yesterday we went to Pecorama where there are lots of trains and we had a ride on a little steam train which was brilliant, then we went on the tram at Seaton and when it went across the road all the people in the cars waved at us, then we came back for tea which was toad in the hole with mashed potatoes and vegetables.

Today we went to Country Life at somewhere called Exmouth and saw all the animals and old cars and things and there was a man with a big glove on who had a bird called a Falcon. There was a big play area as well and we have just got back here and I am going to have cheese and potato pie with baked beans for my tea. I’ve had my tea now and it was my new friend Thomas’s birthday today he was 5 so we had a caterpillar cake which Kathryn made, with candles on it and everyone sang to him!

Tomorrow I hope we are going to go to Bicton Gardens where there is a play barn and a train that we can ride on, Judith and Kevin told me that they will give me some bread in the morning so I can feed the ducks from the train.

There are lots of things to do as well that we haven’t done yet, like going to see the swans at Abbotsbury and going to Woodlands, Daddy says I’m not old enough to go there yet but I really want to. There are also places like the Dinosaur Museum at Lyme Regis and Beer Quarry Caves. There are lots of beaches as well and I’d like to go on them more and lots of places to explore as well like Exmouth and Sidmouth and Beer and Exeter and Lyme Regis and I am going to ask my Mummy and Dadddy if we can come back next year because I have made lots of friends while we have been here and Thomas who is one of them, his Mummy and Daddy are bringing him back here next year so I hope we can too!

I had better go now because it is bath time

See you all soon

Lots of love
