Have I wasted my money - or would this bring you joy in your holiday cottage staycation location too?!

I’m justifying it to myself as a small detail that would bring me joy if I was staying here on my mini break!

Not an ad - just bought it and wanted to share! But if you fancy bringing out another one with a different colour scalloped bottom just let me know yea!! 🤭🥰

If you haven’t tried these - they smell LUSH.

Glow up in the holiday cottage bedroom!!!!

I’ve always thought this corner of the room needed something more - and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Some discounted farrow and ball (Vardo is the colour - and completely by accident it almost perfectly matches the colour of the bed!) and a load of gold mirrors & some miniature maileg treasures to add an extra touch of magic.

I love it - what a perfect spot to relax with a book or a hot drink (or both!!)

I have plans for a little wall light too in the hopefully near future 🥰

The newest coffee spot near Lincoln, we visited this week and it is GORGEOUS!!

Just 10 minutes from the holiday cottage we feel so lucky to have this almost on our doorstep. I forgot to film my food!! (sorry I was too excited to eat it 😂) but we will be heading back very soon - probably to try breakfast there!!

Highly recommend you give it a visit

A happy little coffee stop (with a treat or two obviously!) can really turn a day around!!

We have been loving the new(ish) in Lincoln cornhill, it’s our new go to spot for a coffee when we pop into town.

I even popped in and grabbed a few pastries to go for the cinema the other week!! movie and an almond croissant is top tier by the way!!

LOVE me a mini break - but it needs to be a decent one! 🤭😬

I want my holiday cottage to feel aspirational (aka better than my own house)

I want cute independent shops to mooch and beautiful historical surroundings

And a definitely expect posh breakfast snacks and a fancy bath!!

Call me high maintenance if you want, but it’s not that hard to tick all these off the list 😇 (and if you’re struggling just book the burrow & call it a job well done!)

Nothing quite like packing for a trip!! Especially when you have aesthetic packing cubes 🤩

Even if I’m only going away for a night or two, organising my pants and socks beautifully in my bag is one of the joys of the trip for me!!

Romanticising even the smallest trips is totally fine, one or two nights in my gorgeous holiday cottage totally warrants your fanciest pyjamas, fluffiest slippers & all your pants folded into neat little squares!!! (just me?! 🤣🫢)
