Well, what can we say. It's been like summer here the last week or so. Temps up to and around 20 degrees and only a few weeks ago we had chaos on the roads with an overnight snow dump! These photos were taken just after that. The views are the same today but with no clouds or snow! (Thankfully) So if you would like to come and take in these views we have some dates available in our Bnb room and in our Studio in June, July and August. As we wave off our last guests of the season, we look back on what has probably been our busiest season yet. We'd just like to say thank you to all our lovely guests, guides, drivers, tour groups and especially Tour Partner Group for choosing to use us this year. It has been a pleasure hosting you. Normally we would remain open over Winter but we are closing the B&B side to do some renovations. So no feet up yet!!! The Bijou will remain open over winter. Have a good winter everyone.

It's been a very busy start to the season this year. So much so that we've barely had a new booking over the last month as we are more or less full already until the end of September. Most folk seem to be coming for shorter stays these days and with our minimum stay being 3 nights in our studio our dates have filled very quickly. This means that anyone who wants to come for longer misses out as there's only short blocks of dates in between bookings. So, I'm just about to open our calendar for next year to allow anyone who wants a longer stay the chance to beat the rush. If you book now for next year you will also avoid the price increase (we haven't increased our prices for a few years) The dates should be live in the next week. So if you're thinking of a Skye holiday next year and there's just two of you why not have a look at our cosy Studio for two? or sample our Scottish breakfast in our B & B room 'The purple room at Strathallan'.
