f Monmouth is a luxurious three-bedroom, two-bathroom duplex apartment located on the High Street with two private and free parking spaces. Restaurants, shopping, historical interest, beautiful Forest of Dean and Wye Valley walks, cycling, and bird watching provide ideal opportunities for rest and recuperation. Lilac Cottage is a two bedroomed rural stone cottage, centrally heated but with a lovely log fire located in the centre of the Forest of Dean. Cycle tracks through the Forest, walking, bird watching, canoeing, or just relaxing with a book and a barbeque in the covered cabin ensure a perfect getaway. Pembroke Cottage, a cosy two bedroomed village property with a real fire. The steam railway is a short walk, the village pub next door, with forest walks, cycling and bird watching all close by. Located in Whitecroft it's an ideal location to explore the whole of the Forest or further afield to Bristol, Cheltenham or Cardiff. The historic town of Monmouth offers a great day out with interesting museums, buildings and churches balanced with excellent restaurants and shopping. There are also ancient sites to explore in the region: the Welsh border castles and Tintern Abbey. The cathedral city of Gloucester, the Cotswolds, Brecon Beacons and Malvern Hills are all within easy driving distance.

JUST LAUNCHED 😁

LAST MINUTE OPPORTUNITY😘

Due to a last minute cancellation, we have 3 nights in beautiful Lilac Cottage available from 9th Nov. Perfectly situated for a mid week escape walking/cycling/eating ......... or hunkering down in front of the fire with a glass of wine and reconnecting with your significant other - £20 off per night if you book the whole 3 days and includes a bottle of wine.... Lilac Cottage - Forest of Dean

What a fantastic stay for a much needed break, the cottage was warm and inviting with large sofas and a lovely working fire, plenty to keep you entertained, good WiFi, a well-equipped kitchen and a hot decent running shower over bath. It’s situated on a cycle path within walking distance of two good pubs and a nice cycle or short car ride to Cannop cycle centre and Sculpture trail amongst many other delights. It’s close to the road with off road parking but well insulated from the noise inside the house. To top it off Lou was extremely accommodating for our big lurcher, a secure garden, a nice porch area equipped with all his needs and dog beds. He loved it as much as we did with his bed by the fire. Highly recommend.
