Just look at these two beauties enjoying their holiday in The Old Bike Shed 😍 Judging by these photos, they settled into Brechfa life rather nicely! 🌳🐾

There’s something very special about seeing our four-legged guests out exploring, sniffing, posing and generally looking like they own the place. 😂❤️

With 18,000 acres of Brechfa Forest right on the doorstep, there are certainly plenty of adventures to be had before heading back to their own secure garden and private dog park for a well-earned snooze.

And can we just take a moment for that pose?! 📸😍

Well, this bank holiday weekend certainly living up to its reputation ☔ grey skies, washed-out walks, the whole works. So instead we’re throwing it back to last week, when the sun was actually doing its job!!!

Wendy and her self-confessed “rabble” rocked up to stay in the Bike Shed, and honestly it was smiles all round — we are in love with rabble leader Connie’s cheeky grin! 😄 Sunsets were doing their absolute best too.

Sometimes you just have to laugh through gritted teeth, and hope for a proper Indian summer! 🍂🐾

🐾 A little belated, but some things are worth celebrating a day late — Happy International Dog Day to our Bowie! 🐾

To you he’s the face of Brechfa Forest Barns, but to us he’s just our beautiful, kind-souled gentle boy who makes every single day better 💕

The best thing about Bowie? Those adoring looks he gives us. There’s one captured perfectly in the photos… It’s the kind of unconditional love only a dog can give, and we don’t take it for granted.

☕️🍳 URGENT DISPUTE FROM THE BREAKFAST TABLE 🍳☕️

We're currently sat in the wonderful The Forest Arms Brechfa plates in front of us, and what should have been a peaceful forest breakfast has turned into a full-blown debate. Drock and I cannot agree on what actually makes an excellent Full English, and it's got heated enough that we need YOU, our fellow Brechfa foresters, to settle it once and for all.

The questions on the table:
🥓 Crispy bacon or chewy bacon?
🍳 Fried egg, poached, or scrambled?
🍅 Grilled tomato — essential or optional extra?
🫘 Beans touching the toast, or a total no-go?
🥔 Hash browns or fried bread — pick a side
🍄 And the big one... black pudding: must-have or absolute deal-breaker?

Drock has Opinions. I have Correct Opinions. Bowie think 100% sausages and nothing else. We need a neutral jury!

“Lovely, had such a fab stay. It’s been great to just chill & relax. Views are priceless and nights so sky is amazing.

Colin has loved the freedom of the doggie parks, local walks & amazing place. Will definitely be back.” ❤️

This is exactly what we want a stay at Brechfa Forest Barns to be about — dogs loving the freedom, humans properly switching off, incredible views by day and those gorgeous dark skies at night. 🌲🐕✨

It’s fair to say Freddie’s holiday in The Old Bike Shed was a hit! ❤️🐾

Now with 4.5ft fencing our bijou but beautiful cottage is perfect for two plus your pooches.

We’re now full for August but there are a few gaps left on September. Just sayin’! 😉🐾
