Weekend specials to celebrate Mother’s Day, featuring Pan-Seared, locally sourced Scallops, Chargrilled Scottish Lamb Rump & Chocolate Delice with Lesley’s homemade marshmallows. We are fully booked on Sunday however, have limited tables available for Saturday lunch and dinner service.

Christmas has arrived at the Forbes Arms Hotel, this week marks the launch of our Festive Menu, featuring timeless favourites such as Traditional Roast Turkey with all the trimmings, alongside new additions such as Raspberry & Gingerbread trifle. 

Our daily specials will still be available throughout November and December with our Sunday Roasts served every Sunday in the restaurant and bar.

The restaurant has reopened for lunch and dinner service from Wednesday to Sunday, the bar serving our festive menu daily from 12pm.

For private event enquiries or dining outside our regular hours, please contact us directly.

Traditional Afternoon Teas with a festive twist are back this Christmas, we require at least 24-hour notice.

Gin is at a premium demand at the moment however, it wasn’t always the case, join Darren as he takes you on a historical journey of battles, politics, boom and bust. From the 17th Century to the modern day, gin holds a fascinating history of tragedy and humour. An experience celebrating flavour, history, and craftsmanship.
