After a lot of thought, and with a very heavy heart, myself (Kelly) and Mum (Jill) have made the difficult decision that if all goes to plan, 2026 will be our last season for our special place Oaks 18 Wheelchair accessible caravan on Trecco Bay Site Porthcawl

Due to ongoing ill health issues, I’ve had to accept that I can no longer give the caravan the time, energy, and care it deserves. This hasn’t been an easy decision, especially because this meant so much to me and Mum as it was my Mum and dear Dads special place. Mum can’t continue to run the caravan on her own due to her own ill health.

What started as a simple idea of offering affordable holidays for disabled people grew into something truly special, thanks to every single one of you. We’re so grateful to everyone who booked with us, supported us, recommended us, shared photos of your trips, and trusted us to be part of your holidays and memories. That support has meant more than we can ever put into words.

We’re incredibly proud of what we built and deeply thankful for the community around it. While this chapter is coming to an end, the memories will stay with us forever.

Would like to let all know that Chloe Quick and her Dad Andy are now home safe and sound. This week truly has been the worst of our lives but to have our beautiful daughter home again is amazing. She’s doing well considering what she’s been through and alive which is the main thing. Although they’re home we still have the bills to pay so could really appreciate it if all my friends could share the go fund me link below. Even if you can donate £1 it will all make a massive difference and take a huge weight off ours and Chloe’s shoulders. Would like to thank everyone for all the messages of support for Chloe Quick at this horrendous time. As of the moment they are discharging her tomorrow with the intent on her flying home tomorrow but we won’t know if she’ll be able to fly due to the airlines policies.
I’d also like to thank you all for sharing the go fund me page and donating. The money will help tremendously with the bills etc. In saying that now that she may not be able to fly tomorrow we’re looking at more costs as her and her Dad will have to find a hotel to stay in until she can fly and as you can imagine this is adding to the already growing bills we’ve been hit with. So please please please could you all share the details for the go fund me page or even donate a £1 as every little bit helps

As most of you are now aware and to save time replying to every single message sent to me, yes it is my daughter Chloe Quick featured on your Herefordshire about the operation that went wrong in turkey that came so close to taking her from us forever 😭😭😭
As you can imagine this has been and still is an horrific time for her and us as a family as we don’t know when she will be well enough to come home. We’ve also just been hit with a £5000 bill plus another £300 this morning despite the hospital assuring us it would cost no extra. Like a lot of people we just don’t have that kind of money lying around so her best friend Leah Mattson has set up a go fund me page to raise funds for her treatment but also to get her home and help cover any other extra expenses. So I’m asking all my Facebook friends for your help even a £1 would go a long way towards helping and if you can’t donate please can you share the link as much as possible so that we can also raise more awareness about this sort of thing.
