They will sound absolutely stunning in the forest with their unique blend of folk and electronica with haunting Gaelic lyrics, cinematic rhythms and atmospheric tunes . The Biophilia hypothesis is not new, the term "biophilia" was first used by German-born American psychoanalyst Erich Fromm in The Anatomy of Human Destructiveness (1973), which described biophilia as “the passionate love of life and of all that is alive.
The idea is that humans possess an innate tendency to seek connections with nature and other forms of life.” The term was later used by American biologist Edward O. Wilson in his work Biophilia (1984), which proposed that the tendency of humans to focus on and to affiliate with nature and other life-forms has, in part, a genetic basis.
Recently, I read an article which said that humans can actually suffer from nature deprivation and this is similar to any other deficiency eg vitamin deficiency. So the need to feel connected to nature may be so innate that it is essential for a healthy life.

BTT2021 "do it smaller, but do it better", we are having to reduce numbers this year so tickets are selling out fast, there are still plenty of general camping and day tickets. As its bank holiday we will keep Tier 2 prices until Monday 3rd May.
