If you get a friend request from 'The Mountain Hare Inn' please be aware that it's not from us. Please ignore and report as it's some sort of scam and nothing to do with the pub 🤬

The final day of the Six Nations is here with three massive games. France, Scotland and Ireland are all in the hunt for the title with the latter also chasing a Triple Crown. Italy are chasing their first ever three win tournament and a resurgent Wales their first win. England are also playing today🤭

The match order and kick off times are Ireland v Scotland at 2:10pm, Wales v Italy at 4:40pm and France v England at 8:10pm.

If you just fancy watching the earlier games the pub’s open from 1:00pm today.

It’s round three of the Six Nations today with England v Ireland starting us off at 2:10pm. Both teams seem to be creaking at the moment but equally desperate to win to keep their title hopes afloat.

And talking of desperate, Wales host a rejuvenated Scotland who are on a high following their impressive Calcutta Cup victory last weekend. Although the Wales set piece performed well last weekend the huge holes in our defence will have to be sorted if we are to have any chance today. Good luck to local boy Sam Costelow wearing the iconic number 10 jersey – no pressure fella!!!!! Kick off at 4:40pm and live coverage thankfully on BBC 👍

Pub open a little earlier today at 1:30pm.

Well, as generally predicted there was very little to cheer about in last weeks drubbing at Twickenham. Today is probably an even tougher challenge against one of the strongest French teams of recent times. Discipline must be better and let’s hope we have more to offer than box kicking damage limitation. This mess called Welsh Rugby certainly isn’t the player’s fault so good luck to the boys taking the field today – dig deep and have a go! You never know, wheels can come off even the best chariots! 😜

Pub is open from 12:00pm with kick of at 3:10pm.

Here we go then! Wales open their 6 Nations account today at 4:40pm taking on England at Twickenham. Italy v Scotland to start the rugby off at 2:10pm with the pub open at 1:00pm.

The Six Nations starts tonight and it’s a massive clash between France and Ireland, two of the tournament favourites with kick off is at 8:10pm. The matches then continue on Saturday where Italy host Scotland at 2:10pm followed by England v Wales at 4:40pm. It’s going to be another tough tournament for the Welsh boys with the old enemy seemingly odds on to give us a hammering. Let’s hope some of the new faces rise to the occasion and that someone switches on the light at the end of the tunnel!!!

We’ll be open at 1:00pm this Saturday and will be showing every game in the tournament live.

So here we go again, deep breath…
