Systems in this country are just broken.
If anyone needs to do a Gov ID check for things such as changing driving licence details or Companies House check etc. then please do not choose the post office on Bridgnorth High Street as their tablet is not working. They say shouldn't be bookable, but it is. You then get locked in with that option and can't revert back to app.
Tried explaining to some foreigner four times on chat for the Gov app and got nowhere. When I called the number given a voice message directed me to another number. Gave up and went down email route with two working days to wait for a reply.
This was also after problems due to Royal Mail sending some of our bank mail back to the sender, so second trip to HSBC today trying to sort that and will be several more days at least until that sorted with no real explanation.
Prior to that on the same day, a trip all the way over to Shrewsbury hospital to see a consultant that could barely speak English and who thought 8 weeks was 3 months. The outcome was basically a blood test that could have been done in Bridgnorth. More public money wasted due to inefficiency and poor service.
