Had to get out yesterday, river was coming up fast, fished 2 pegs 2 barbel and a chub, recognised this fish with the bite out of its tail it went 12lb got caught a couple of times last year around 11-1/2 lb or so. Nice to see she’s still about and putting some weight on

Going to start fishing the lower Severn soon, only fished it once before. It’s good to fish somewhere different, I like to keep the old brain cells working, so fingers crossed, and a bit of luck from the fishing gods I can winkle a few out this autumn and winter 🤞

Had a couple of days on the Trent Wednesday and Thursday. Fished 2 stretch’s on a club ticket 1st day, fished 3 pegs not a touch, 2nd day fished the day ticket below collingham weir, not a sniff, at least everyone I spoke to were the same with a couple fishing the day before also with nothing, meanwhile back at Hampton Loade on the Severn, my pal went out had 10 barbel including 2 fish over 13, biggest went 13-11 top angling Keenan. That’s fishing sometimes. It can drive us mad.👍😄🏒
