What a session on the river for my guest Will, float fished for the barbel and ended up with 14 barbel all on float fished meat. A proper red letter day. You don’t have many sessions like this. Well done again

We’ve got a couple of nice days, then some decent rains forecast, bit of water to give the river a good flush through. Hopefully the fish will get on the feed. Fingers crossed Severn Trent don’t use it as an excuse to flush the sewers into the river.

Fished a couple of hours last night, 7-30 to 9-45 had 3 barbel and a chub, nothing big one about 7 another about 8 and a little scrapper about a pound, nice to see some young fish coming through.cooled down lovely, great evening

Went out today with my old pal Jeff Mitchell he might be in his late 70s but he smashed it today with 6 barbel, pulled out of another couple. While I managed 2 barbel and a chub. Well done mate

Well done to the 2 guys on a guiding day today, never caught a barbel or a chub before. Did an early morning session and they had 5 barbel, a chub and 3 pike👍🏒

Guests are catching, fishing early mornings and late evenings barbel being caught and some lovely roach are showing. Fish sensible, make sure you have plenty of fluids and make sure all fish are well rested before releasing them . Enjoy
