The Hood Arms is an historic coaching inn situated in the village of Kilve on the edge of the Quantock Hills. The inn is steeped in history, being on the route of the Coleridge Way and close to the Jurassic coastline and beaches of Somerset, halfway between Bridgwater and Minehead and very accessible for Taunton, or as a base to explore Exmoor.

We’re getting ready for two of the most special days of the year at The Hood Arms — and we’d love you to celebrate them with us!

🎄 CHRISTMAS DAY AT THE HOOD
Put your feet up and let us take care of Christmas! Enjoy a Christmas drink & canapés on arrival, followed by a fabulous festive menu featuring traditional turkey, Beef Wellington, halibut and a vegetarian Wellington, finished with some seriously tempting Christmas desserts. £110 per person – £10 deposit required per person.

The tent may have come down at Kilvestock & Barrel, but it hasn’t gone far… it’s been resurrected in The Hood Arms garden! 🙌

And we’re putting it to good use on Saturday 12th September with another great afternoon and evening at The Hood.
