It’s with great sadness that I’m posting to tell you that Sarah died on the 12th November in Scarborough Hospital.
She had been treated for breast cancer for the past 6 years under going endless cycles of chemotherapy right up to her death.
Although she was born and lived her childhood years in Devon and Cornwall, she loved the Yorkshire Coast. It was fitting that she insisted in getting up to her place of quietness and tranquility one last time.
Sarah loved her fish and chips from Naked Fish or Jackson’s Fisheries, a breakfast at Good Souls, a pint in the Ship Inn Sewerby and an evening meal The Old Forge Sewerby. But sport was Sarah’s passion. She never missed the chance to get a round of golf in at Flamborough Head Golf Club.
In true Sarah style, she was dealing with enquiries and taking bookings right up to her death. She had organised the diary for next year, so this is now loaded onto our availability calendar.
Although very much the public face of Number One Seagate, we were very much a team behind the scenes and the team will continue to match her exacting standards.
