Bessingby Holiday Cottages are situated in the charming conservation village of Bessingby only 2 miles from the colourful seaside resort of Bridlington with its miles of award winning sandy beaches. Bessingby Holiday Cottages were originally farm buildings which have been converted to a high standard to provide comfortable, spacious self-catering accommodation. Both cottages are on the ground floo

r providing easy walking access. Waggoner’s Cottage has two bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 4 people (+baby) whilst Shepherd’s Cottage has three bedrooms and comfortably sleeps 5 people and a baby or young child. There's everything you need for a family holiday, a weekend escape in the country, a special occasion, or romantic retreat! Both cottages are well decorated and furnished with gas central heating. They each have
• fully fitted kitchens with modern appliances, including washing machine and microwave
• flat screen HD TV with Freeview and DVD player
• free WIFI
• all linen and towels provided
• a cot or cot bed and high chair are available on request
• excellent supply of books, DVDs and games suitable for both children and adults
• ample, secure off road parking
• private garden area equipped with barbeque and garden furniture
• shared large grassed play area ideal for football and other family games

Situated on the heritage East Coast of Yorkshire the cottages make a perfect base to explore the spectacular coastline, the picturesque Hockney’s countryside with the City of Culture 2017, Hull; Scarborough and historic York all less than an hour’s drive away. We are also cycle friendly, offering secure storage for your bikes. East Yorkshire is a mainly rural area with a vast coastline and wide open countryside where there are plenty of quiet roads and trails to find.
