🔥 GOOD NEWS… THE FIRE PITS ARE BACK! 🔥

We’ve had some much-needed rain, cooler temperatures and a change in the weather, so we’re really happy to say that our fire pits are now back in use! 🥰🔥

We know how much our guests love sitting around the fire pit in the evening, toasting marshmallows, having a drink and enjoying that proper glamping feeling. ❤️

A few important rules though:

🔥 Please only use the fire pits provided
🔥 Fire pits must stay in their designated position
🔥 Never leave a fire unattended
🔥 Please make sure the fire is completely extinguished before going to bed
🔥 Disposable BBQs remain banned
🔥 If weather conditions become particularly dry or windy, we may need to temporarily reinstate the ban.

Thank you for your patience while we had the temporary restriction in place. We know lots of you have been asking when they would be back — so we’re delighted to say get those marshmallows ready! 😍🔥

🔥 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – FIRE PITS & BBQs 🔥

Due to the current dry weather and increased fire risk, we have had to make the difficult decision to temporarily ban all fire pits and disposable BBQs at Viking Garth Hideaways.

🚫 Fire pits are not permitted
🚫 Disposable BBQs are not permitted
🚫 Please do not bring your own BBQ or fire equipment

We know sitting around a fire pit is a big part of the glamping experience, and we’re really sorry for the disappointment. ❤️ However, the safety of our guests, our pods and the surrounding area has to come first.

This is a temporary measure and we will review the situation as conditions improve. We’ll let everyone know as soon as fire pits can safely return. 🔥

We’re looking for someone to help keep the grounds around our glamping pods looking their best.

📅 March – October
⏰ 16 hours per week – flexible
💷 £14.50 per hour

General gardening duties including grass cutting, strimming and keeping outdoor areas tidy for guests.

Ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and can work independently.
