Please be aware for when traveling up to Whitby

Whitby Swing Bridge update. ⚠️

A heads-up for anyone visiting Whitby over the next few days: the Swing Bridge will remain closed to vehicles into next week, with work currently expected to be completed by Friday 17 July. The bridge remains open to pedestrians during this time.

The bridge will be closed to pedestrians from 6pm on Monday 13 July until 2am on Tuesday 14 July, while essential work is carried out that requires the bridge to open for river traffic.

A shuttle bus will be running on Monday from 6pm until midnight to help people get around.

While it may cause a little extra planning, the Swing Bridge is one of Whitby’s most iconic landmarks. The current bridge dates back to 1909 and was designed by engineer J. Mitchell Moncrieff, who later became President of the Institution of Structural Engineers.

We've only gone an done it!!

One of our biggest goals was to reach this first milestone, and we're incredibly proud to say we've now hit £1 Million in owner gross revenue! (with still just under 6 months remaining of the year....)

We've taken the slow and steady approach, focusing on sustainable growth rather than growing too quickly. From day one, our ambition has never to be the biggest overnight. Its allowed us to build the business the right way, with quality, service, and our owners always coming first.

We believe in doing things differently. We're an old-fashioned, honest company, designed with our property owners'' best interests at the heart of everything we do!

Thank you to our current owners, who have trusted us so far and continue to see the visions of our ventures together. Who knows where it will lead!

As we continue to grow, we'll remain intentionally selective to maintain the standards we're known for.
