🌾🚜 What a day! Open Farm Sunday 2026 at Coppet Hill 🚜🌾

We were delighted to welcome over 1,100 visitors through our farm gates for this year’s Open Farm Sunday.

From learning about farming and food production to seeing the silage-making operation in full swing, it was fantastic to share what we do and why it matters. The silage-making demonstrations were a real highlight and a huge success, giving visitors a chance to see modern farming in action.

Thank you to everyone who came along, asked questions, explored the farm and supported our local produce.

Events like this help connect people with farming, the countryside and the journey from field to fork. Thank you to our volunteers, exhibitors, partners and everyone who helped make the day such a success.
And of course it would not have been possible without the support of and

Read our monthly blog about how we farm regeneratively on our farm in Dorset using sustainable agriculture and how this works side by side with our diversification into Agricultural Tourism.

A May recap - what an amazing month!
We had over double the number of guests compared to this time last year (the sun definitely helped!) and the flowers are really coming out now. The fields have had their first cut and it won’t be long for their second, and we’ve been gearing up for Open Farm Sunday this weekend.

Our campers and glampers have enjoyed endless sunsets and warm sunrises, 3 moth clubs and lots of tractor trailer rides, fresh eggs from our chickens, freshly cut flowers from our cut flower patch, delicious BBQs with local food and drink and daily trips to the many nearby beaches.

We can’t wait to see what June brings us!

Camping in Nature at Coppet Hill 🦉

Camping at Coppet Hill feels like stepping into a quieter side of the Jurassic Coast — wildflowers, wildlife, the sounds of nature, crackling firepits and some of the darkest skies in England. Think peaceful pitches tucked between hedgerows, owls at night, hares in the fields, and sunrise walks surrounded by the ancient hill forts of the Marshwood Vale . It’s slow living, local produce and proper back-to-nature camping. 🌿⛺✨

Come to Coppet Hill for some Nature Therapy 🌸

As Sir David said “one of the simplest things you should do is just actually to just stop”.

We always encourage our guests switch off whilst they’re here on the farm. And to immerse themselves in nature and take in their surroundings. We don’t allow cars on the pitches so you can listen to the birdsong and see an interrupted view.
We don’t allow dogs to join the nature friendly camping so that the ground nesting birds feel safe to lay their eggs.
And we want the children to feel free to roam, and the parents to know that they are safe to do so.
