It’s Wednesday again! The weeks are flying by aren’t they?! It’s one of my favourite days in Bridport as it’s market day and the streets are filled with stalls selling everything you need (and don’t really need but can’t resist 🤭) my favourite being the lady who sells fluffy jackets and cowboy boots! 😃 yeee haaa!

We have had many guests in the last week or so who are visiting Dorset for a walking holiday. Making the most of our beautiful coastal paths in both directions from Britmead and returning at the end of their daily adventures rosy cheeked and ready for a good nights sleep.

As we head towards November and Christmas we have some very exciting times ahead here at Britmead. Keep your eyes peeled and I’ll keep you posted on what’s coming up very soon! 💕

What an amazing day! ☀️ the sun is still shining in beautiful West Bay and our new arrivals are enjoying their cup of tea in the garden whilst making the most of this weather. We have certainly been blessed this year 💕😃

Over the summer, many of our lovely guests went for a ride with Lyme Bay Rib Charter. They’re just a ten minute walk from the guesthouse and can be found on the harbour side in the Bay. Each and every one of our guests came back buzzing, giving raving reviews about how much fun it is to be out on the water on a rib. An all round brilliant experience. Lots of people come to stay with us for their holidays from places far from the seaside … so an experience like this is really special and one to remember! 💕 🌊 ☀️

Ruby is not impressed today 🐶
She has made friends with our lovely guests who tickle her tummy, throw her ball, play zoomies, tell her how beautiful she is (she loves that one) and now that they’ve had their breakfast they have all deserted her to go out on their coastal path walks and adventures of the Jurassic Coast. Her face when they didn’t take her with them 😂🤭
It’s a beautiful day here in West Bay and it’s so good to see people are still coming on their holibobs to make the most of early autumn … the weather is absolutely glorious. Breezy, sunny and beautiful 😍
