Another happy customer!
Anyone who runs a truly great holiday let knows how much work goes into making it the stress-free experience people deserve for their special time away. So when we get 5* feedback, it really means the world to us.
We’re parents and grandparents ourselves so we know how important holidays are. The disappointment when you turn up to find that your booking doesn’t match your expectations is crushing!
We never want our visitors to feel anything less than delighted by every aspect of Big Sky. As Florrie says, the location’s covered, so we don’t have to worry about that! Next up, it’s the warm welcome you receive, spotless cleaning and a home that’s been thoughtfully kitted out so you’ve got everything you need to feel truly at home.
Our wonderful housekeeper, Judy, meets you on arrival to make sure any questions you have are answered (you have to meet her to know what a comforting presence she is after a long drive), and Gary and we’re always happy to share our tips for a brilliant stay. If there’s a new restaurant, pub or cultural event that’s opened up, we’ve usually tried it out! We love to support the vibrant West Dorset offerings that make it such a special place to be and we always encourage our guests to try them, too.
We’re so glad Florrie and her family had such a wonderful stay, particularly on their first ever trip to Dorset and we’re very grateful that she took the time to share such a detailed review.
We are concerned, however, that she doesn’t mention Dorset Apple Cake. We hope this particularly lovely local tradition didn’t pass her by. We’d better send her a recipe, quick!
