Well here it is no nasty comments are necessary because I cannot thank Palmers Brewery and GL Hearn enough for all the hours of hard work they have put in to get my Business Rates reduced to a much fairer level. I am so grateful that hopefully we can survive the winter.Thankyou x

And that's a wrap from the George West Bay . What a summer!!!!
So sad the bank holiday weekend was a wash out after such an amazing summer.
Bookings will resume from Saturday 5th of September.
Unfortunately very unsure when carvery will return at this time.
What an amazing team I have
I cannot thank them all enough, they have worked so hard to keep everyone happy.###
Please support us over the coming months.

What can I say. The powers of facebook are amazing. I thankyou you all for your support and comments on bridport banter and your visits to see us. The ploughmans will not change we have been it serving for many years. An average day at the George would serve 15 ploughmans what do you think we have done over 3 days at the weekend??? Guess right and you get 2 free meals at the George and it doesn't have to be a ploughmans. In fact I think we would prefer it to be anything else 😄😄😄

I love my pub and I love west bay and it is a delight to see people arriving and bringing the buzz of summer. We have a great community and many small businesses that hope to survive the summer. Please Please Please do not abuse them. We are working a policy of no tolerance. If you abuse, steal from anyone you will not be served elsewhere in the bay.
Lets enjoy our summer and appreciate everyone's hard work.
