*Update. Absolutely stunning amount of genuine positive feedback regarding our "random" Christmas Market Stall Event idea!!! Truly speechless with the amount of genuine interest shown already. Thank you all!! Heads Up!!!

Management have had a quick COBRA meeting. There's a plan 😉 We've taken the original idea, added another 2nd date due to popularity, added a few things, tweeked and twerked a few other things etc etc. 💪

This coming Sunday at 12 Noon I will amend/update my original post to share the EXACT details of what, when and how this will work. Keep an eye on Facebook peeps. You will love it. Be ready as you'll need to act quick to secure your "Stalls".... 😉♥️ Original post below ⬇️

Random New Idea Time!!! We hold our 1st very own Saltwells Inn Christmas Fayre/Market Stall Event!! ⬇️⬇️

Humour me. This could be amazing 😎 We block off 14 tables in our rear Family/Function room. We invite 14 local "businesses" to come and "exhibit" their wares on said tables. No mass corporate nonsense; I want local, great and kind hearted people, sole traders looking to offer something different in the run up to Xmas. I mean a bespoke printing company, someone who makes amazing candles, smellies perfumes and gift boxes, a bespoke handmade Xmas card company etc etc. Just amazing little personal handmade type quirky gifts.

Would be on a Sunday Evening. 22nd or 29th November currently looking favourites tbh. You set your "stall" up at 4pm ish. You bring your own advertising, flyers, business cards and samples etc. 5pm doors open to customers to come in, grab a drink and wander around our mini exhibition. It's up to the sellers to sell their wares!! I'm just giving you exhibit space and some free central heating. You sell stuff? Fab. No future bookings?? Think about your marketing strategies 🤣 Let's keep it open for 3 hours or so. See what happens!!!

Thoughts?? Now I need 12 of said local entrepreneurial folks to comment below and see if we can nail this!!!

Monday 16th November. 6pm onwards. We have 10 spaces available for private Tarot Card readings with Nik.
Nik will set up her "stall" in our rear rooms. Will be offering loads of other trinkets, crystals, brooches etc on the night. A proper look into another world.... 😉 Bring some extra spending money 👻🦇

It's £15.00 per reading. We only have 10 spaces available. We need £10 non-refundable deposit paid per person beforehand to secure your Tarot Reading place. Will work your reading times out nearer the time. Pay the remainder on the night no problem. Happy to take reservations for tables of 3 or 4 etc on the same night. Thinking you can come and have a meal/ drink etc when only 1 of you actually wants a Tarot Reading?? Happy to accommodate that. But it's literally only 10 spots available for readings at £15 a session. Gooooo!!!

So popular we arranged another night for the week after as well. Monday 23rd is now available to book. Same set up as below post. Will need you to come in and pay deposits though to guarantee things 😎

Literally the single best compliment letter EVER received came in the post today!! ⬇️⬇️

This came in the post this morning. Royal Mail man was wary. Even our own Keery (aka Teflon hands) didn't handle it. That means it's serious 😉🤣 Staff crapped it big time. Heard an Anthrax warning... PMSL 🤦🤷🤣.

Event now open!!! Halloween Saturday 31st October. Let's make it one to remember!!!! Details below ⬇️

Rear function room tables available to book now!! It's yours! Starts at 5pm!! Wear fancy dress!! No gore!! This is for fun!!! Smaller groups of 4 ish would be fab per table.
Places for 20 kids available only. £8 per child. Pay in advance to secure your place/ reservation. Adults more than welcome to come but this is about fun for the kids. If you do come please dress up in fancy dress also and look after them also. My child minding skills are limited 🤣🤣🤣 Doesn't have to be Halloween theme.
This includes meal off our normal kids Menu, Halloween drink and an ice cream out of our ice cream freezer. (Subject to availability. We'll sort you if we run out. Don't worry), Halloween goody bag, Hobgoblin b**r mats and a proper Hobgoblin Pint glass to take home!! For £8 per child!!!

•We'll have the room and whole pub decorated in Halloween theme. There'll be a special corner where you can stand in front of and take some great photos. In fancy dress obviously. Adults also!!!
•7pm ish? Depending on the light we go out to the garden & count how many bats we can see flying above🦇
•Then we do a "Trick or Treat" moment around the rest of the pub!! There will be loads of sweets for you to fill them goody bags up with I promise. Just walk (dont run) and ask other tables and our staff 😉👻
•All the staff will be wearing fancy dress. Remember!! Doesn't have to be Halloween theme!! Can be something else no problem. I hear Buzz Lightyear is making a guest appearance 😉 No gore. Keep it sensible.
•Halloween music confirmed. Micheal Jackson "Thriller" on repeat if I know the Gaffer 🤣🤣🤣
•Special Halloween Dessert confirmed; "Tombstone Terror" will be available to order on the day 💪
•Special Halloween themed Meals confirmed. Check the Specials Board. "Murdered Meatballs"? Yep!!!🍽️🧛
•Any other customers and staff want to come in fancy dress?? Do it!! More the merrier. But no scary gore!!
•Prizes for best dress Kid and adult!! Remember doesn't have to be Halloween theme. Just dress up!!!

Can't do Pumpkin carving sorry 🤷 Way too expensive, messy and Health n Safety stuff etc 🤦 You'll be fine.

Adults/parents/guardians more than welcome to eat and drink at same time as kids. Just come (in fancy dress) and order and pay at the bar/food till as normal.

Monday tomorrow!!! Back to work for those that have "proper jobs" 😉. Open 12 noon til 9pm for food and drink. Main Menu and Kids Menu on plus Specials Board. Free Gravy Boats tomorrow!!!
