A Gentle Reminder – Please Do Not Feed the Animals ❤️
For the health and safety of all our animals, we kindly ask that you do not feed them, even if they seem interested or hungry.
Today, I had to remove a piece of green plastic type substance from one of our goats’ mouths. Had he swallowed it, the consequences could have been devastating and potentially fatal.
Our animals are carefully managed and fed an appropriate diet. While we know that offering them a treat often comes from a place of kindness, unfortunately even well-intentioned actions can put them at serious risk.
Please also take a moment to ensure that no litter, food packaging, or other items are left where curious animals can reach them. Goats, in particular, explore the world with their mouths and will often investigate things they shouldn’t.
