What is it about Brighton that dogs love so much?

The long walks along the seafront? The endless new smells? A wander through The Lanes? The sheer number of cafés willing to make a fuss of them?

Or perhaps it’s knowing there’s a rather comfortable bedroom waiting back at Drakes.

Brighton really is a very good city to be a dog. 🐾

24 hours in Brighton, Christmas edition. ✨

Check in at 2pm, drop the bags and head straight out. A wander through The Lanes, a little Christmas shopping, perhaps an Artists Open House or two, then back towards the seafront in time to catch Brighton’s starlings swirling above the pier at dusk.

From there? Cocktails at Clementine & Co, dinner at Burnt Orange and back to Drakes for the sort of bed you’ll be very pleased to see.

The next morning starts rather differently: sea air, a Beach Box sauna, breakfast back at the hotel and one last Brighton wander before check-out.
