1. Cheddar Gorge and Caves (14 miles) - A spectacular natural landmarks in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The Gorge boasts awe-inspiring cliffs and extraordinary subterranean stalactite show caves, plus many fascinating secrets about our prehistoric ancestors. 2. Bath (16 miles) - Home of the famous ancient Roman Baths and the modern Thermae Bath Spa, which houses the only natural thermal hot springs in Britain which you can bathe in. 3. Clifton Suspension Bridge and Avon Gorge (5 miles) - Clifton Suspension Bridge is one of Bristol’s most recognisable structures and one of the top tourist attractions. 6. Chew Valley Lake (5 miles) - Chew Valley Lake Nature Reserve is a great place for bird watching. It has SNCI, SSSI and SPA environmental designations. 8. Glastonbury and Glastonbury Tor (20 miles) - Home of the Glastonbury Festival and situated on the Somerset Levels the quirky town is full of magic and mystery.
