Is there a better way to round off a weekend than with a proper Sunday lunch?

If you're staying with us, these are three of our favourite places to enjoy a delicious roast after a morning exploring the Dales.

🥇 My top picks for guests

Druids Arms - just 5 minutes walk from the Snug. Reviewed by many as one of the best Sunday lunches around the local area.

Ring o’ Bells — lovely traditional country pub near Chew Valley Lake, with an excellent reputation for Sunday roasts and a nice garden. It was also a 2025 Taste of the West Gold winner for dining pubs.

🍷 If you fancy something a bit more special

THE PIG-near Bath — great for a long, relaxed Sunday lunch in a beautiful setting. Note that in summer they use a special Sunday menu rather than a full traditional roast-only menu.
