A smattering of snow on the Barn Bristol, the girls were very excited to see it last night and disappointed most of it was gone this morning. My parents call it 'pitching' when the snow stays on the ground and sadly the snow didn't pitch! The Barn Bristol, makes for a super cosy space to snuggle up, for a cheeky getaway. Perfect whatever the weather.

I've been looking back over photos of the barn, it was a work in progress.

It's funny how you can forget how far you've come, until you take a moment to reflect.

I still feel very proud of how much we achieved, turning our little barn, into such beautiful cosy space.

Happy Easter! Have you had a lovely break? Hope you're feeling recharged now :-)

We've had a lovely little flurry of guests in the barn, which is always fun. We confess, we're slightly rubbish when it comes to sharing some of the reviews (duh!) but couldn't resist sharing this:

Happy Sunday! How was your half term? Did you manage a getaway? We snuck off for a few days by the sea, we got the ‘fix’ we needed! What do you look for in an escapee, to leave you feeling boosted?

We've just had some lovely guests stay in the barn. They used it as a cosy base to explore Clifton in Bristol on Saturday, before heading onto the Roman Baths the next day. I never grow tired of the view of the Suspension Bridge, it always lifts my heart -and the Roman Baths is so impressive!

Whats on your wish list of places to visit in the WestCountry?

Oooh, exiting times! Thank you to every one who has stayed with us - we've gained Super Host status again!

If you stayed with us last year, chances are you probably spotted the piece of unused land next to our garden which affectionately called God’s Garden. So named - as it's owned by the church.

People often glanced at it, as they made their way in - you can see why!

God’s Garden was untouched for the last 10 years and finally after many years of asking, we were given permission to rent it earlier this year and have enjoyed making it good again.

Our friends Vicki Ivins-Jones and Brian gave a hand with the clearance and it's finally looking complete!

So next time you come to stay, there's some extra green space to enjoy and cast your eye onto.

Ooh, we have some last minute availability in December!

Come and treat yourself to a cosy weekend in the barn, it's the perfect setting for some Christmas shopping, within easy reach of Bristol and Bath.

Then you can curl up and watch a Christmas film on the projector. Sounds bliss to me!

Weekends available are Dec 3-5 and Dec 17 - 19, plus some mid week spots too.
