The weather might not be ideal for the summer holidays, but we have just the answer for a changeable day - as the largest FREE museum in Torbay, you can enjoy a fab day under cover at Brixham Heritage Museum - and we have just launched our explorer backpacks!

A choice of six themed packs await you - free to borrow from the front desk. Containing a range of toys, hand puppets, investigative tools (anyone else just love exploring with a torch and magnifying glass?!), dressing up and books based on different themes, you could visit us once a week through the whole of the school summer holidays and have a new experience each time!

The bags are aimed at families with primary age children, but can be enjoyed by both older and younger kids and their families.

Packs are available to borrow from the front desk. Kindly funded by South West Museum Development and Arts Council England.

Not many surfboards can predict the future quite like this one can....

It's pretty accurate as it goes, apparently only the weather can change the outcome so you might as well have a little look...

Next Thursday we have a really exciting morning event for the early birds: will be bringing her crystal baths to the decking for an hour of sound bath and meditation, followed by a dip in the sea, tickets are just £10 and available via Gemma direct.

Friday 30th the Cove shall be turning into a dance floor for all the nice people in the local area to come and have a bop. As you know, we love a little shindig so what better way to celebrate the end of Summer?! Think disco, think classic house and think good times from 6.30pm til 8.30pm 😊

6th October the surfboard has decided that we should throw a pop up vintage shop in the works and turn the deck into an evening shop full off garments for all shapes sizes, high street and designer from 6pm until 8pm. This is a CASH ONLY event so bring your dollar dollar dollar

Burger night will be every Wednesday until we say otherwise, and the cafe ope 6 days a week 10am until 4pm right up until the end of October

And word on the street says a seafood chowder will be ready in time for the weekend 👀
