Brixham in Autumn is gorgeous. The restaurants, pubs and attractions are all open, but you'll have more space to wander around the harbour, enjoy the comings and goings, the seafood festival in September (among many other events), the stunning scenery and coastal walks and so much more.

Brixham is one of the top places in Britain to visit, according to TripAdvisor. This accolade is based on excellent reviews from visitors.

Most of the 20 places listed are cities or large towns, so it's amazing that Brixham has done so well. But, of course it should - it is a beautiful town, with fantastic scenery, a gorgeous harbour and fab places to eat.

And The Melville is pretty great too. 😍

It’s a beautiful weekend in Brixham. Colourful sailing boats dot the Bay and the sea is glittering in the sun. The harbour and beach has been bustling, but there’s still plenty of space to sit in solitude and watch the comings and goings if that’s what you prefer.

We've just had a cancellation for this Bank Holiday weekend. If you were thinking of coming down to Brixham, but thought we'd be full, we now have a fabulous room available. It's our superior suite with a superking bed, a separate lounge, a minifridge, two tvs, tea/coffee making facilities - and, of course, it's ensuite. A hot breakfast is included in the direct booking price.

Another beautiful day in Brixham! The sea was a glorious turquoise that sparkled in the sun.

The pics show the view across to Brixham harbour and low tide at Fishcombe and Churston coves.

It’s been such a beautiful summer with the promise of many more gorgeous days.

You could be here enjoying stunning coastal and harbour views or taking a day trip to nearby towns. There’s a fantastic range of restaurants or bars when relaxing during the evenings too.

It’s lovely to take a stroll around the shady areas of Battery Gardens on a warm evening. The views over the Bay are gorgeous, while the gardens are stunning. It’s interesting to see all the war time buildings too.

Yet again, guests walking into our superior suites have been amazed at the spaciousness of the rooms.

Both our superior suites have their own lounges with comfortable armchairs, TV, minifridges and tea-making facilities. There is also a further TV in the bedrooms, with seating, and a superking or kingsize bed. Our suites have cooling tower fans too - perfect for sunny days.

Our suites have very limited availability in July but currently there is availability in August and September (our superior suites are very popular).

Whatever your needs, all our comfortable rooms are ensuite, with a range of superking, kingsize or double beds. All have seating, minifridges with fresh milk, tea and coffee-making facilities, TVs, etc. A hot breakfast is included for guests booking direct, with a fantastic buffet and Continental options available too.

We are just a five-minute level walk from the harbour - and we have parking! We are also very close to transport links and amenities.
