It’s been a beautiful day in Brixham. We spent the afternoon by the harbour having a delicious lunch and then tucked into ice creams by the harbour side.

If you’d love to relax by the harbour, enjoy the fabulous food and hospitality, take stunning coastal walks or even a boat trip, we have availability in June. Website in the comments.

It’s been gorgeous in Brixham for the half term. Today we got to see some of the Torbay Airshow from our spot at Oxen Cove.

Yesterday, the penstemon looked stunning at Sharkham. While today at Berry Head was a mass of stunning wildflowers.

Come and visit Brixham and see just how beautiful it is.

We have availability for June and the summer months. Website in the comments.

Our lovely pirates have all left now, but Pirate Mac always makes sure that he leaves a fun pirate reminder by tucking these pirate ducks in a variety of locations in the room.

It didn’t take me long to find all six - so he’ll have to try harder next year. At least, I hope there are just six and there aren’t other pirate ducks hidden somewhere.

🤣

🎉 There’s plenty to look forward to in Brixham over the coming weeks, with a fantastic line-up of events across May and June bringing the town and wider bay to life. 🏴‍☠️⛵️🛩️

Things kick off this weekend with the ever-popular The Brixham Pirate Festival – a firm favourite for both residents and visitors. Expect the town to be buzzing with live music, sea shanties, colourful characters and lively re-enactments, all celebrating Brixham’s rich maritime past. It’s a brilliant weekend for all ages, with plenty of pirate-themed fun along the harbour and beyond.

As we move through May and into June, the celebrations continue across the bay. Highlights include the Brixham Heritage Sailing Regatta, showcasing traditional vessels and local seafaring heritage, and the spectacular English Riviera Airshow, where breath-taking aerial displays fill the skies (and yes, you’ll definitely hear them too!).

Rounding things off in June is the much-loved Port Of Brixham Trawler Event CIC – a unique and lively event that celebrates the town’s proud fishing industry, drawing crowds to the harbour to watch the fleet in action.

With so much happening, it’s the perfect time to get out, explore, and enjoy everything Brixham and the English Riviera have to offer.

More events, big and small, are listed on our website, so keep an eye out and get those dates in your diary!

It's been a gorgeous day in Brixham. I took my coat out but didn't need it, even by the late afternoon. We walked out to Breakwater beach, sat for a drink at the Prince William and enjoyed the sunshine and views around the harbour.

Come and enjoy all that Brixham has to offer by booking direct (for the very best rates): www.themelvillvebrixham.co.uk
