Another beautiful day here on Skye. Here's sunrise yesterday at Loch na Dal, just a few miles from the cottage. This weather so far this October has been amazingly calm and settled, with almost clear blue skies - a real 'indian summer' (and no midgies!).

It may not be a golden or white-tailed eagle, but it's still great to see the buzzard that frequently hunts in the field...

Went to take a look at the dinosaur footprints near duntulm the other day as we were nearby, and the tide was low. They weren't too obvious and most looked more like normal rockpools when you are on the ledge. But the are in lines, and there's one rock that looks suspiciously like a foot, so I guess that these are the prints?
