Join our holiday home cleaning team ....

We’re currently looking for a reliable, detail-focused cleaner to help keep our large holiday home sparkling for guests. Work part-time, with the same friendly team each week, using clear systems and with all supplies provided.

💰 Paid: £13.50–£16.50/hour depending on experience and performance, plus Christmas and summer bonus.

Usual hours: 3 hours/week on Mondays 11am–2pm, with flexibility for guest bookings and busy periods.

The role
• Cleaning the house and getting it ready for guests
• Minimum 3 hours per week
• Team-based with a clear, structured system and checklists
• All cleaning products and equipment provided

Guest experience and reviews depend on very high cleaning standards, so we'd love to here from someone who:

• has cleaning experience (holiday let or similar preferred)
[training will be given on checklists etc.]
• is reliable and detail-focused
• can work well in a team and without supervision
• communicates clearly in English

Location and travel
• Drivers with their own car preferred but not essential
• Free parking available at the house
• Nearest bus stop is approx. 15 minutes’ walk

Paid trials
Paid trial sessions (2 hours at £13.50 per hour) will take place during the weeks commencing: 09/02/26 and 16/02/26

We’re also looking for cleaners who may be available as reserve cleaners to cover holidays or busy periods.

Weekly Gardener Wanted

Help us make our gardens even more beautiful: Our tree-lined sweeping driveway, safe & sunny back garden and seasonal flower beds already delight our guests. We have plans to develop our gardens further including a meadow lawn, new fencing and a garden ‘beach’ hut. Our gardens are lovely places to relax in but also to garden – would you like to help?

We’re looking for a weekly gardener for garden and grounds maintenance throughout the year. The work varies from weeding and deadheading, to lawn care, to maintenance tasks like sweeping paths. There’ll also be opportunities to help with garden planning and planting.

This would suit a gardener looking for more experience or someone established looking for a part-time role. You must have experience, but you’ll also get training and a plan. I’m looking for someone who’s well-presented, reliable, can work as part of a team and ultimately without supervision. English speakers please. Equipment can be supplied.

The usual hours are 3 hours on Mondays 11am to 2pm, but because holiday let and gardening work are flexible, there’ll be scope to set ‘usual’ hours to suit the right person, but sessions must vary to fit round bookings and the weather – you won’t work when we have guests or when it’s raining:
Bookings (and the weather!) vary week-to-week and throughout the year, so you may be asked to work different start/finish times (e.g. sessions may be between 9am and 4pm), some extra hours and on different days, including weekends and school holidays.

Pay from £12.50 / hour – negotiable depending on experience – paid next day, weekly or monthly on a self-employed basis. I’m happy to hear from companies but please note although this is a weekly slot, it won’t be regular.

Drivers with their own car are preferred but not essential. Free parking is available at the house.
