A photo that first appeared here some twelve years ago is this one of Neptune's Tower. Originally built as a folly by Lord Holland as part of his Kingsgate estate in the 1700s. Originally it had a central tower but that was demolished many years ago.
It served as an observation post for the Royal Observer Corps during the last war, a photo of which has also appeared here in the past.
It's other claim to fame, if it can be called that, is it's appearance on a postage stamp.
