They have been family managed by the owners for twenty years. Part of a 250 year old Georgian Mansion the apartments are comfortably furnished including books, videos and games. l view either out to sea and the chalk cliffs or towards the Victorian garden at the back of the house. There is an ever changing scene sea scape with the tides, fascinating sea birds, ships to watch either from the windows or the beach directly in front of the property. You have opportunities to play golf straight behind the house, go swimming, go to the children's play area or play tennis. A good idea is to bring your own bicycles with you. The bicycle paths around this area and some along the beach are breath-taking. All apartments are child friendly and non-smoking areas.

A photo that first appeared here some twelve years ago is this one of Neptune's Tower. Originally built as a folly by Lord Holland as part of his Kingsgate estate in the 1700s. Originally it had a central tower but that was demolished many years ago.
It served as an observation post for the Royal Observer Corps during the last war, a photo of which has also appeared here in the past.
It's other claim to fame, if it can be called that, is it's appearance on a postage stamp.

🚁🛟 Monthly scheduled rescue exercise at Kingsgate Bay today.

Quite a sight to see the helicopter carrying out the exercise, with the door open as they practised the rescue procedures. A fascinating sight from the shore! 👀🚁

A beautiful walk to Broadstairs, taking in the fresh sea air and enjoying a stroll past the Charles Dickens Cafe, then on past the Old Curiosity Restaurant. 🌊🚶‍♀️

We ended up at the Pavilion with a delicious Eggs Benedict — the perfect way to finish a lovely walk! 🥚🍳☕️

Beautiful views, lovely places and great food. ❤️
