What a weekend in Broadway 🚗✨

The Broadway Car Show brought an incredible mix of supercars, classics and much loved motors to the village this weekend, and it was wonderful to see Broadway buzzing from morning to evening.

A huge thank you to the Broadway Car Show organisers and volunteers who put so much into making the weekend happen, to everyone who brought their cars along, and to all the visitors and guests who joined us in the village.

We loved being right in the heart of it all and welcoming so many of you through our doors.

Definitely a date for your 2028 diary! 🏁

A simple slice of cake can help change someone’s life.

Throughout August, we’re proud to be supporting Hearing Dogs for Deaf People with our new table talkers, helping to raise awareness of hearing loss and the life-changing difference hearing dogs make every day.

The campaign forms part of National Afternoon Tea Week (10th–16th August) and Hearing Dogs’ Paws for Cake fundraiser. By scanning the QR code on your table, you can donate the cost of an “invisible slice of cake” or any amount you choose. You’ll also find out more about the charity and perhaps even feel inspired to host your own fundraiser.

It was a pleasure to welcome Mrs Merleen Watson M.B.E., Volunteer Speaker for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, to The Broadway Hotel to introduce the campaign and share the incredible work the charity does.

Over 18 million people in the UK live with hearing loss. Every donation helps raise awareness, supports more deaf people in local communities and contributes towards training life-changing hearing dogs for adults and children aged seven and over.

We’re pleased to be keeping the table talkers in place throughout August, giving even more guests the opportunity to get involved.

If you’re joining us for coffee, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner this month, you’ll find a table talker waiting for you. Every donation, no matter the size, helps make a real difference.

Broadway looking gorgeous, even if we do say so ourselves.

Some of our regular guests may remember that part of our garden was damaged when an old boundary wall unexpectedly collapsed.

Over the past few months, we’ve carefully restored the space, rebuilding the wall in beautiful Cotswold stone and redesigning the garden to complement its surroundings. Watching it evolve from freshly planted trees and bare earth, to blossom, birdsong and peaceful corners has been something rather special. We think it’s become one of the loveliest spots at The Broadway Hotel.

Today it’s a place to sit back with a coffee, enjoy afternoon drinks, lose yourself in a good book or simply take in the beauty of the gardens in the heart of Broadway.
