Not all heroes wear capes... some just really, really love acorns. 🐷🌰🦸♀️
Pannage season has begun in the New Forest! Around 600 pigs are out roaming the woods to clear away fallen acorns, which are toxic to the local ponies and cows.
Basically, it’s an all-you-can-eat acorn buffet that saves livestock! 🍂🙌
If you spot them trotting through the trees, remember:
• Give them plenty of space 👋
• No hand-feeding or petting 🙅♂️
• Drive carefully through the forest 🚙
