A few favourite corners of Old Brook Farm.

Ancient stone walls, old timber beams, well-loved furniture and the oak panelling in the drawing room are just some of the details that make this house so special.

We have never tried to make Old Brook Farm feel like a hotel. Our hope has always been that it feels like a much-loved Dartmoor farmhouse that riding guests can settle into and enjoy for a few days.

Welcoming our wonderful guest Alice back to for her third visit. To celebrate we think she needs a space on the grid.

Always such a pleasure to host her and her friends.

How lucky are we having .dartmoor working alongside .crafts.by.joseph here at the farm.

Their work restoring the hedgerows has been phenomenal. When you reveal a piece of original dry stone bank underneath the newly lain hedge, it makes managing these traditional old boundaries a bit brighter on a wet and wild winter day.

Who knows how many hundreds of years ago this Devon bank was first put in!
dartmoor is also a very talented woodworker and the last traditional Stave Basket maker in the UK. We are lucky to have him here. 🪵
