What a lovely day and such a well-organised event for Cullen.

A special thank you to our fabulous in-house bakers, Suzanne and Jennifer, who produced an amazing selection of home-baked cakes, traybakes and scones for the Royal Oak stall. 🍰

We loved seeing so many familiar faces and meeting new ones too, and we’re already looking forward to the next market!

⛳️ Fabulous afternoon on Cullen Links with my old school friend Alison Anderson and her lovely husband Stuart.

It’s amazing how many years can pass and you can still pick up where you left off! Lots of catching up, plenty of laughs and some golf thrown in for good measure. 😂🏌️‍♀️

Beautiful Cullen, great company and a really fun afternoon. We’ll definitely have to do it again! ⛳️🥰

🌊 TODAY WE LAUNCHED THE CULLEN SKINK ODYSSEY! 🐟🥣

What a day — and a very proud one for all of us at The Royal Oak, Cullen.

Today we welcomed guests from the press, social media, tourism and travel trade to officially launch The Cullen Skink Odyssey — our new immersive food experience celebrating the story, people and place behind Scotland’s most famous soup.

This has been a real labour of love.

For me, food has always been about place and provenance. From childhood memories of buying sardines straight from the boats in Spain, to visiting villages where sausages were made, to selling meat from my own farm shop back in 1995 — I’ve always been fascinated by the connection between food, people and where it comes from.

And that is exactly what the Cullen Skink Odyssey is about.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life, to our fantastic local producers and contributors, and to everyone who joined us today to celebrate the launch.

Today was the beginning of an exciting new chapter for The Royal Oak and for sharing the story of Cullen with visitors from near and far.

⛳️ A Fabulous Day at Cullen Links! 💕

Delighted that The Royal Oak Cullen sponsored the Ladies Open at Cullen Links yesterday.

What a fantastic day of golf on one of the most spectacular links courses — wonderful scenery, great company, plenty of laughs and some very competitive golf! ⛳️🏌️‍♀️

It was lovely to see so many ladies out enjoying the course, and I thoroughly enjoyed being part of the day myself.

A huge thank you to Cullen Golf Club, everyone who helped organise the Open and all the ladies who travelled to Cullen to take part. 💕

We are incredibly lucky to have this fabulous course right on our doorstep — and hopefully we’ll see many of you back in Cullen again very soon!
