British Grand Prix dates are released!
Our 2022 guest review is below for those thinking about an exclusive F1 experience from Thursday 6th July checking out at a leisurely 1pm on Monday the 10th of July to allow you to experience everything the Silverstone F1 weekend offers!

As fate would have it we (6 ppl) had the privilege of staying in The Safari Lodge for our Silverstone weekend.

Location: This was 10 min away from the Silverstone track as a result getting to and from the track was made into such an enjoyable trip. (we did cheat a bit because our lovely host knew all the back roads to skip the traffic - Thanks Simon)

The rooms were clean and well laid out to our specification since we had a mixture of couples and singletons, the beds were comfortable, provided thick duvets and lead to a good night's sleep.

The Hot Tub was at 40 degrees and after a long day of walking the circuit in Silverstone believe me your feet and muscles will thank you for this, so make sure you soak in and relax while you take in the clean countryside air and let your eyes and mind wander off to a place of nothingness and absolute calm. (yes this place does that to you )

Now the hosts - Suzanne and Simon we can never thank you enough you made us feel so welcome and at home so much so I forgot i was paying for the place. going the extra mile to make sure we get everything we need from the shops, transport to and from the track, making sure we are comfortable and sharing as much as you did. P.S we are coming back for those cherries from your tree they were delicious.

I highly recommend Walter's retreat / The Safari Lodge as both an amazing accommodation for Silverstone and equally an amazing retreat for you to experience the pure tranquillity it provides (i know I will be booking soon with my own family).

The service we received was unmatched and worth way more than what we paid for.

It's a big weekend for us here. Today Silverstone circuit is hosting the F1 British Grand Prix and it's a sell out crowd of over 140,000 people. It's been lovely to offer our Grand Prix guests not only the close proximity of the race track but the tranquil setting of Walter's Retreat to come back to after an exciting day of motor sport.
