Spring is coming, the flowers are blooming and we have lambs in the field!!
It is lovely to see the lambs grazing in the fields and I know that we will soon see more and younger ones too.

So we would just like to put a friendly reminder out to help protect pets and livestock alike, for dogs to be kept on leads when not in the cottages.

As a family and a business, we have made a decision, we think you will like it :)

Treworgie Barton cottages sits within 36 acres. So whether you are visiting during Halloween, Bonfire Night, Christmas, New Year's, or any other holiday or occasion, you can rest assured that your fur babies will be calm and relaxed.

We pride ourselves on being a QUIET SITE, not just at these times but all year round. Which is why we have guests who come and stay with us specifically for this reason. All animals and pets deserve to stay calm and relaxed during festivities, and as pet owners, we don't like to see them scared.

There is plenty of wildlife in and around the cottages, including deer in the woodland, sheep in the fields, farm dogs who visit, and 2 resident cats. None of these animals, including our guests' pets, must be startled or affected by fireworks, leading us to make the decision that we are and will remain a quiet site for as long as the cottages remain under our ownership 😊😊

Cheers to all of you from all of us.
As the year comes to a close we want to take the time and opportunity to say a massive thank you to everyone of you who have supported us through 2025. Whether it has been through liking and sharing our posts, reading our newsletters or coming and staying in one of our cottages.
We are truly grateful to each and everyone of you.
We hope you all have a great evening whatever you are doing and we look forward to welcoming those of you who have booked to stay with us next year. As well as making new memories and friends as a family and business.
