⛺️ Last week before we close for the winter ❄️

We have had a wonderful first year open and have been lucky to have had some wonderful guests stay with us here at Mount Pleasant Camping.

Thank you to everyone that have chosen to stay🙏

We will be back open next summer and will announce dates soon.

We will now be staying open until the end of October so call or email to book a pitch for a last chance stay with us this year.

A peaceful morning with a coastal view 🌊

The nights are drawing in and although the skies are a little overcast by day with the occasional sunny spell ☀️, we have still had some lovely evening sun sets and starry nights to enjoy.

The campsite now has that lovely peaceful end of year feeling with a steady flow of happy campers.

We have spaces available and we are open untill the end of October through half term. so call or email me to book your pitch.

Get that final coastal getaway before the clocks turn and winter is upon us.

Welcome to Mount Pleasant Camping
We are a small friendly popup campsite with stunning views of the north Cornwall coastline, Maer lake and also views of Bodmin moor in the distance, how’s that for a view or two?
We offer tent and camper-van pitches with the option of electric hook ups, you’ll be staying on pleasantly level grass pitches with access to two on site unisex toilets, drinking water and recycling.

Located in the village of Poughill adjacent to our farm and car repair garage, is our new little campsite over looking the town of Bude, nestled in the countryside and mostly surrounded by grass land and arable fields. – it's about five minutes’ drive away and home to some of the area’s best beaches, especially if you’re into surfing. The farm is also only a little way from the Atlantic Highway (aka the A39), opening up the possibility of outings to all sorts of choice spots nearby including Tintagel, Port Isaac and Bideford.
Open to the elements but with stunning sea views, you can pitch up, relax and take in the picturesque north Cornwall coast line and also enjoy some of the most stunning sun sets and starry night skies Cornwall has to offer.
With a short 10 minute walk you can find a lovely local pub "The Preston Gate" with a welcoming atmosphere and excellent food and drinks available.
A 5-10 min drive or cycle ride in to Bude offers a wide variety of entertainment venues, shops, bars and restaurants in pleasant surroundings.
Steeped in history and set in a stunning location, Bude is the perfect summer getaway, so make Mount Pleasant camping your home from home.

(Mornings and evenings here are lovely and peaceful, but we are a working farm with animals in the fields and a nearby repair garage, so there may be some smells and noises on occasion in the day time. With some of the most stunning views available we are open to the elements so we can sometimes experience high winds)
