🏊 You've got the iconic , made in 1930 - One of the only tidal swimming pools which still remains open to the general public today and is open throughout the year, free for all to enjoy
🚢 The Bude Barrel Rock shipwreck refers to the wreck of the SS Belem, which grounded on Northcott Mouth near Bude in 1917. A portion of the Belem's propeller shaft, salvaged from the wreck, now supports the barrel on Barrel Rock, a navigational aid for the Bude harbour
🌊 Tommy's Pit, built in 1859 by Sir Thomas Acland. It's the original, albeit less celebrated, sea pool in Bude - When it first opened, you risked a penny fine if caught swimming in the n**e!
⚡ The 'Pepperpot' Storm Tower - Designed by the visionary architect George Wightwick in 1835, its purpose was dual-fold: to serve as a sanctuary for the coastguard and to add a touch of architectural splendour to the coastal landscape
