A little clarification from Widemouth Manor
We want to clear up something that we realise may not be widely known following our post back in May.
***Widemouth Manor accepts cash payments and we are very happy to continue to do so. 💷***
Back in May, we announced we were intending to become a cashless business. We understand that this caused quite a reaction with some of our valued customers, and we carefully listened by continuing to accept cash.
We also want to make it absolutely clear that our intention of going cashless was not driven by any political beliefs or affiliations. It was intended to resolve the very real challenges with shrinking local banking services and the increasing difficulty of dealing with cash that we know many other businesses face.
We also understand why many people value cash. There is something reassuring about having the choice of how you pay, and we appreciate the privacy, freedom and simplicity that cash can provide.
So, if you prefer to pay with cash when you visit Widemouth Manor, please do — cash is still welcome here.
