And that’s a wrap for the season at Sandparks!

A massive thank you to everyone who stayed with us this year. We’ve loved having you here and hope you’ve enjoyed your time 🙌🏽

A huge thank you to Sue and Gary for running the campsite so brilliantly throughout the season, and to Sammie for keeping the facilities looking spotless day after day. 🤩

Although the campsite is now closed for the season, if you still fancy a trip to Widemouth this autumn or winter, there’s another option…

Self-sufficient vehicles can stay in The Bay View car park for £20 per night, and you’ll receive a £15 voucher to spend on food and drink.🍻

So you can still wake up by the coast, head out for a walk and finish the day with a meal and a drink overlooking the bay. 🌊

September is such a good time to explore North Cornwall - quieter beaches, fewer crowds and cooler temperatures that make those longer coastal walks a little more enjoyable!

Soak up the views, explore the South West Coast Path and enjoy a quieter side of Cornwall before we close for the season.

A lovely weekend at Sandparks! ☀️

Thank you to everyone who stayed with us over the weekend - we hope you had a great time and made the most of the Cornish coast. 🌊

Now we’re into September, it’s a brilliant time to visit. The beaches are a little quieter, the crowds have eased, and there’s still plenty of time to enjoy Bude and the surrounding coast without the busyness of peak summer 🤩

We’re open right through to the end of September, so if you fancy a quieter Cornish escape, there’s still time to book your stay!

Fire pits and BBQs are back! 🔥

After careful consideration, and with the campsite now a little quieter, we’re happy to say that off-the-ground fire pits and BBQs are permitted at Sandparks again from today 🙌🏽

As always, please use them responsibly and safely, and make sure fires are fully extinguished when you’re finished 😊

Nothing quite beats an evening by the fire after a day on the coast! 🔥

The calm before the storm 🌅

Yesterday evening, Bude was looking pretty special.

A beautiful sunset at Summerleaze before the thunderstorms rolled in this morning 🌊

One minute you’ve got skies like this, the next you’ve got thunder and lightning - you never quite know what you’re going to get on the North Cornwall coast! 🤣
