Something a bit different today. Some of you already know I have a real passion for plants and gardening, and today we’re opening up our garden and the land for the NGS Open Garden Scheme.

It’s a great chance to have a wander and a nosy around the garden, the cabin, the meadows and even the sauna. If you’re into nature, plants, trees, growing veg, wildlife or just seeing what we’re building here, you’re very welcome.

There’ll be tea and cakes and plenty of home grown perennial plants for sale.

Adults £5 for the charity via the NGS.

There’s something about slowing down away from the constant pings, the laundry pile, and the endless to-do lists that makes diving into your “to be read” stack feel less like a luxury and more like a ritual.
