After a fantastically busy summer, we are welcoming in a peaceful September, but there's still plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks! 🎵🍻🍔🍂

Gary McCausland is still with us every Tuesday for the next few weeks at The Yard Bar, and our Happy Hours at the Cocktail Bar will be taking place 4pm-5pm on Tuesdays and Sundays until the 13th also!

Our Bingo Nights continue every Wednesday, as do our Quiz Nights on Fridays - both free to enjoy (although donations to the RNLI are very much appreciated!).

Cousin Jack will still be visiting us every Thursday at The Mowhay from 7.30pm (3 Bars open on these nights!)

We've also still got several of our favourite local food pop ups visiting on set days as per the post below AND our Lodge Takeaway remains open 5pm-8pm Thursday to Monday, as well our Yard Kitchen which will be serving food on set days/times.

Everyone is welcome to attend any of these events, whether you are staying at Wooda, living locally, or just in the area for the day! We'd love to welcome you this Autumn ✨

Happy Bank Holiday! Don't miss James Dixon for the last time at Wooda this year, performing at The Mowhay this evening from 7.30pm!

Food from Serendip Street Kitchen 5pm-8pm and all of our bars are open 🍹🍻

Our Yard Kitchen is also open and serving all day 12pm-8pm, and our Lodge Takeaway is open 5pm-9pm. Everyone is welcome, whether you are staying at Wooda or living locally, we'd love to see you!

As the summer holidays come to an end, so do our Sunday Sessions. Don't miss the last one of the year this Sunday with Happy Hour 4pm-6pm, food from Wok 'n' Roll 5pm-8pm and music from Joanna Cooke from 7.30pm!

Did you know that you can stay with us over Christmas and New Year? Our luxury lodges remain open all year round, including over the festive period! 🎄✨

We have just two lodges remaining for Christmas, and five for New Year! If you are interested in a stay for either, please do get in touch with our reception team as we can be slightly flexible on arrival and departure days, and length of stays if you are looking for particular dates. Each lodge comes decorated and with a little gift included too! Bude is a magical place during Christmas, even hosting a Christmas Day Dip in the sea!

A local charity very close to our hearts, Jay's AIM, is holding a Colour Run in Bude in a few weeks time!

Taking place at Bude RFC on Sunday 13th September from 1pm. Run or walk either a 1.5K or 3K course, with all proceeds going to Jay's Aim.

Fun for all the family and medals for all finishers! Refreshments and BBQ available. Open to everyone, whether you're local to bude or are guests to the area 💙

Don't forget to look for Pixies on our Nature Trail during your stay with us. Some of them tend to go on adventures during the summer holidays so you might need to look extra hard for the ones that have stayed at home! One guest spotted over 60 last week 🍄🌿✨

As we head towards the end of August, the magical atmosphere of Autumn is just around the corner. After the hustle and bustle of the summer holidays comes to an end, September onwards brings a calming quiet to our little corner of Cornwall, perfect for dog-friendly stays, romantic retreats and active adventures, all whilst making the most of the fantastic facilities we have on site at Wooda 🍂
